I've tried to follow your instructions but I can't get Local Player to
"see" the binaries.

I think the naming convention is correct and I've relaxed the
permissions to be the same as the windows binaries. I've also restarted
LMS several times but to no avail.

Am I doing something wrong?

Why are the new binaries so much bigger than the old ones? Maybe I'm not
untarring them properly as I haven't used this type of file recently.
