My squeezebox use has shifted to almost 90% Spotify, so I was similarly unhappy when I saw the email from Spotify this morning. If there's any speculation as to why Spotify/Logitech would do this, the answer is always: follow the money. Logitech divorced themselves from intelligent music streaming many years ago, so it only follows that the sooner they can (legally) sunset services, they will. I suppose I don't fault them for this, they are a for-profit company, but as someone running about a dozen squeezeboxen still, seeing the services slowly fade out makes me a bit grumpy. But! Spotify App is dead!
