Thinking about it a bit, it ought to be possible to connect the output of the spotty helper (or librespot using stdout for output) to the input of LMS, shouldn't it? Obviously this would not handle track details, playback control etc but it could be used as a manual input selection (ie via WaveInput) and then playback control could happen via a spotify client. I'm playing with but without much luck so far!
