You should see the plugin versions installed in LMS Settings/Plugins The free versions are listed in the following post: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?107707-Announce-Erlands-commercial-plugins-available-for-free&p=889253&viewfull=1#post889253 Spicefly SugarCube would be unable to verify its license if my license server stops working. License is checked if old license expires or if a new version of either License Manager plugin or Spicefly SugarCube plugin is installed. So if you have a life time license and have a backup of both plugins and their prefs files there wont be any dependency to my server since the license would not have to be verified again. I dont have any plans to shutdown my license server. If you want Spicefly SugarCube to be independent of my server you will have to discuss this with the developer of Spicefly SugarCube.
