I, too, was unable to get Custom Browse (or some other, but not all, Erland plugins) to load with version 7.9.1.x. I experienced the exact same behavior as posted in this thread and I emailed Erland about it a week ago.

I'll review that change. It seems to be some interaction between LMS and Erland's specific server configuration. I had that change running in my own systems for months before I merged it. Never encountered any issue...
