I've noticed WASAPI works when default format is 16 bit, 44100 Hz, but does not play sound if set to 16 bit 48000 Hz. I also tried 24 bit, 44100 Hz and that worked but sound was not good (in my one case). 27061 Like you I do not see any advantage to WASAPI. I always just use "Default" in SLX anyway. I don't really understand "exclusive vs shared" modes. I'm just assuming squeezelite is using exclusive mode always when doing WASAPI. It does not seem to give you an option.
