If "Elvis Presley" was the exact string that LMS would create if there was an image then yes that would be very very useful. Easy identification of missing artist artwork and the knowledge of what LMS expects the name to be. I still quite like the cover art idea but actually .missing is more useful unless you could have both .missing and display cover art in such circumstances (pushing luck here).
