I am toying with the idea of adding the 64-bit version of Squeezelite-X
to the store. I routinely build and run a 64-bit version myself, but I
have not bothered to deploy it, because there did not seem sufficient
advantage. The 64-bit version is about 5% faster, but it uses about
10MB of additional RAM and the deployment package is 5% bigger
(compressed download from Store) and 10% bigger (uncompressed on you
disk).

The way it works is that I upload both a 32-bit package and a 64-bit
package to the store. If you have a 64-bit OS, the store will give you
the 64-bit package. If you have a 32-bit OS, then you get the 32-bit
package. (I really doubt there are very many people with 32-bit
Win10).

Once I do that, then your 32-bit version of SLX will be replaced by the
64-bit version.

BTW, the squeezelite software player would remain 32-bit in either
case.

Thoughts, anyone?
