I've been using the same for testing. All my 44.1K alac files were created in iTunes and the 192K files are the 'Linn test album' (https://www.linnrecords.com/recording-download-format-test-album) in alac format. If your alac files were not created with iTunes, could you make 2 available for me to download to try to reproduce the frequent clicks/pops during playback?
