Done, and will monitor. The speed feels pretty good on my iMac. The brief blank screens upon very fast scroll don't bother me much and can live with them. But the artwork replacement after the scroll stops is a little jarring. Cell metadata is correct, but the artwork that previously occupied that cell is shown for a moment (I think Michael referred to this earlier).
