In all sincerity, I don't understand the drive to get Sirius on the
SqueezeBox. It's not as if the end result is in some way better than
an actual Sirius radio. It seems like a LOT of trouble and effort. Do
you ever actually LISTEN to Sirius radio? The plug-in, Squeezebox
version of Sirius seems to represent the antithesis of either
SqueezeBox or Sirius radio. It seems to represent the most difficult
way possible to obtain Sirius programming - there's
something...lunkheaded about the whole endeavor, like thinking that
putting a square peg through a round hole will result in a thing of
beauty. It seems that the plug-in version, with all its attendant and
ongoing issues, couldn't possibly be as much, how do I say this - FUN -
as a regular Sirius radio. And if it's a reception issue, it seems that
even the most awkwardly rigged Sirius antenna is still preferable to the
plug-in version.
