I've uploaded the log to your Dropbox. I hope it's the right file.
Three issues I'm seeing (two of them totally unrelated to Spotty :-)):

- There are quite a few hints about network issues in general. Like inability to connect to mysb.com:

Slim::Networking::Async::connect (114) Failed to connect to www.mysqueezebox.com:443, because
Net::HTTP: connect: timeout
Slim::Networking::SqueezeNetwork::Players::_players_error (377) Unable to get players from SN: Connect timed out: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond., retrying in 86400 seconds

If you had intermittent network issues, that certainly wouldn't help with Spotty.

- your log file lacks any timestamps. Please shut down LMS, go to the prefs and logs folders and delete log.conf (see Settings/Information for the paths). Then restart LMS.

- SongInfo is flooding your log file with errors. 20-30 per minute. Unless you really, really need it, I'd say get rid of it. Inform its author about the problem.
