Would be a relief (and somehow embarrassing) if it was my solution. But it's not. Today was the last day of my holiday so I undertook some testing. Squeezelite settings are blank now, players set to proxy-mode. Music (Qobuz) played without problems until late afternoon. Since then I couldn't play a song without constant stuttering. (Is there a logfile where I can find this sort of buffer underrun?)
I come to think it's the time when people come home and start playing some music. So maybe an bandwidth-problem at their site? BTW: Qobuz app still plays fine, so Qobuz does not see any reason for complaints here.
