Thanks for your feedback. Here are my answers. erland;208036 Wrote: > 1. > Does mysql use 100% CPU in task manager ?
No, it was chugging along at 5% to 15% CPU. > 2. > How large is your library (Number of tracks) ? About 20,000 tracks. > 3. > Which SlimServer version do you have ? I would also prefer to see the log from step 4 above > before you try this step, because I can't reproduce your problem in my > own setup. I went ahead and cleared the Custom Tags and Mixed Tags individually to see if that helped. The clearing process took an extremely long time, so I concluded that there was either a problem when I installed 6.5.3 (over the top of 6.5.1) or that somehow my database had become corrupted. So I uninstalled SlimServer and re-installed. I loaded about 2400 tracks and was able to load Custom Scan 1.19 with no problem. I'm still new to SlimServer (been using it for only about 2 months). Could I have just deleted the database and done a re-scan to create a new one? Or did I indeed need to do a whole new install to start fresh? I realize that I probably could have saved my preferences file and copied it back rather than hunting around to re-set everything the way I wanted. I've been using the Last FM scan to collect the pictures that show up on the Artist pages of the Custom Browse menus. I'd much prefer to be able to select my the pictures to use. Is there a way that I could create a file of artist pictures and have Custom Scan pick up those pictures rather than the Last FM pictures? I know I'd then have to change the menu coding to point to a different source for the pictures.
