Thanks for the advice. I agree, its time for something else to pick up some of its duties. I do have some video content on the NAS which would be nice to be able to stream to other family members - but the processor in the NAS isnt up to transcoding on the fly. So perhaps I need something that could run LMS and also run a media server / be able to transcode. Not done any research into what that device would be - but I think that might be a fun project for some time next year. I presume that a pi4 wouldnt have the necessary cpu power?
