The new server was a barebones LMS with only cdd2wav and plugin. It was connected via ethernet. Set up on same pi3b. As this produces the same outcome, then it suggests something wrong with the pi or the drive. I'll set up another LMS on a second win10 pc and try the drive on that... That's the only way I can think how to test the drive. How do I run dmesg - from rpi terminal?
