Matt (and others)- Thanks for the help. I'm not sure of all that I did, but I've got MIP working headless on Vista. The breakthru, as you said Matt, was running CMD as an Aministrator from the Start menu. After that, most of the Spicefly instructions were good.
When I addded the mmm.ini file to the Musicip Mixer folder, the Cache= and Port= lines were blank. I was then tinkering around in the GUI, which also appears to work on Port 10003, and refreshed my cache - When I went back to the ini file, the correct cache ine was filled in. I then ran the depend-on-service.reg file and replaced the index file, all as specified at Spicefly, and I was good-to-go. Have not tried the Spicefly Syncer yet - that's for another evening. Thanks again for all the help. -- whdean ------------------------------------------------------------------------ whdean's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9127 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42818 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
