Hi there, A small note here: There is an active mode for iTunes Update which sends the info back to iTunes. This seems to work fine.
Only thing that does not work is that the combination of iTunes Update / CustomBrowse / TrackStat seems to be capable of slowing my server to a grinding halt, resulting in jerking music from a server that is connected directly to the SB via Ethernet. Not nice! However, I really do like that I can rate my music from my SB, since I am running on a headless server, and use my rated music for DJ'ing (so, when I hear a new cool track from one of my 10-box swing-music sets that I rip to my headless server and play back using my SB, then I'll rate it on the fly and I'll see this track as rated in iTunes and consider using it for DJ'ing at a swing-dance event, using iTunes on a MacBook).
