A few quick answers: Setup: ----- Headless server: Mac Mini 1.42 GHz PPC, Mac OS X 10.5.2, 512 MB RAM (cannot be expanded easily), SC 7 beta "as of today".
Headless, DJ'ing & iTunes: --------------------- Current setup is a bit clumsy: What I do is that I run all software on the SB server and then export a playlist with my 4 and 5 star ratings and then imports this on another system. It works ... but is slow and clumsy. So I only do it once in a while. But it makes my SB much more useful :-) Plugins disabling ------------- Could try that. However, music is playing and my wife is happy. So no disturbances in the setup tonight :-) The ultimate goal is to make her a happy SB user as well (quite far from it right now... ). /S. P.S. One more challenge that I'm facing is the lack of an "Auto-OK/Cancel-to-dialogs" on Mac OS X.
