Big logs can be copied into a text file, zipped and then attached to a post.
The message below is important and is due to no data coming from network - this is caused either by mplayer, socketwrapper or flac/lame or something interfering with their intercommunication (e.g. security s/w). > > [08-03-12 22:29:18.8818] Slim::Player::Source::dropStreamingConnection > (1315) No pending chunks - we're dropping the streaming connection > [08-03-12 22:29:18.8845] Slim::Player::Source::readNextChunk (2402) > 00:04:20:12:6e:03: Can't opennext, returning no chunk. > [08-03-12 22:29:18.8952] Slim::Player::Source::decoderUnderrun (582) > 00:04:20:12:6e:03: Decoder underrun while this mode: playout-stop > To run SC from a command prompt. 1. Stop SC. 2. Open a command prompt 3. Goto top left corner icon menu of command window and change properties to change window size. 4. Change directory (ie. use cd) to the SC directory - if using a standard installation it is in c:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server 5. type in the command squeezecenter.exe 6. SC shoudl start up - from web interface enable logging as follows plugin.alienbbc to INFO , player.source to DEBUG. 7. Try to play a BBC live stream 8. Log messages should scroll up and you should see some from mplayer and also socketwrapper. 9. From command window - type CTRL/C to stop SC. 10. Use command promtp window top left icon menu to copy all of the log and paste into text file 11. Post the text file. *Danco*, AlienBBC uses the SC7 menu and SC7 has much improved caching so the delays in processing web pages have been reduced - the delay is probably BBC responding to mplayer but some of mplayer settings can affect this. Is there the same delay whenusing a standalone mplayer ? If not then running SC from a Terminal will provide some timestamps to identify where the delay is happening. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44645 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
