The log is perfect.  It shows that socketwrapper has problems getting
audio from mplayer.  Since mplayer worked standalone - the problem
looks like something is stopping socketwrapper from receiving audio.

Typically this is how a firewall or other security s/w behaves when it
see an application doing network operations and it thinks it is a
Trojan or Worm.  If that is the case usually there are settings to
enable socketwrapper to be designated a "trusted" application.  First
need to identify which apps is/are blocking socketwrapper.

Can you provide info
1. Version of NOD 
2. Version of ZA
3. Is MS firewall enabled or not ?

Do any of your security s/w have logs which indicate when it think
security has been breached or a event has occurred.  Check these logs
and look for events.
