Oh dear But thanks for the analysis. I attach a log file with just the entries relating to my signing on this evening.
This is my only known system problem at the moment (touch wood) and I have all the normal protection all of which is up-to-date and I scan regularly. I will wait for your views from the new log file. My inclination is to completely remove SC run Crap Cleaner on the registry files. and re-install SC run the logs post them on this thread for your views with your permission. Then reinstall AlienBBC. I have only used SN since upgrading and that has been fine. I havent tried to connect to the internet via SC on the SB.
