The files of AlienBBC plugin are processed in 3 groups 1. Strings.txt 2. Install.xml 3. Running of Plugin.pm and Settings.pm
The AlienBBC entry in Plugins means the install.xml file has been processed. No AlienBBC in the Logging box means the step 3 has not been run or it has failed. So it is not a case of a missing "basic.html" file but initialisation of AlienBBC has failed. The plugins are loaded when SC starts - that is why I asked for some logging to be enabled and made persistent and then to get a log of SC startup - the logging options should give details about plugin initialisation in general and with more info from AlienBBC. Do you have a playlist directory defined for SC as it is checked during AlienBBC plugin initialisation ?
