Either are good, as long as the audio level remains at a reasonable
listening level (neither deafening, nor lost in ambient noise)

Assuming "left channel" == "line in channel", then yes, leave it untouched.

Looks good!

You have trimmed the audio file quite close to the end of the sweep. Ive
occasionally seen that cause problems - although not in this case. The
amount of silence you have before the sweep looks like the amount I would
normally leave at both ends.

But the important question is how does it sound?
