Thanks for the reply. The filters help reduce the boomy bass problem in my rectangular shaped listening room. The bass is leaner and the midrange seems clearer and cleaner as well. However, there is a something I don't quite understand. I have been using SC7 on my NAS but it is not powerful enough to run the filters. Therefore, I set up another SC7 on my notebook (CPU Intel DuoCore 2GHz, 2GB Ram running Vista) where the InguzEQ was installed and InguzDSP was set for decoding FLAC, etc. I happened to compare the quality served from my NAS and from my notebook (without any Room Correction filter). I was pretty much expecting no difference. To my surprise, the quality from my NAS is much better. The sound is more open, dynamic, louder and faster. Of course, the room acoustic problem is there. Changing from InguzDSP back to Native seems to help but not much. I cannot figure out what possibly is going on? -- cheetah ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cheetah's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7231 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26005 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
