I want to try the Inguz EQ for simple EQ tone controlling. I have Squeezecenter Version: 7.0 - 17793 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252 and a Transporter FW 36. I use Windows XP.
I downlaoded the latest 9.28 release (I assume, I picked the 7.0 Squeeze Center version on the radio button under thew terms and conditions page), as well as the DSP (assume I need it even for simple tone controls) and manually put them in the folders specified (they initially zipped into those folders with "InguzEQ" and "Inguz DSP" folder names, but for the DSP one I instead just copied the contents, not the folder heirarchy. My Squeeze Center plugin settings sees the Inguz EQ and Room Correction and has it checked off, but when I click on settings it says: "404 Not Found: settings/plugins/InguzEQ/index.html" (which from what I can see is a file buried three more folders deep in X86 multithread/InguzEQ, namely HTML/EN/PLUGINS/INGUZEQ/index.html, along with several other files like Silverlight, Scene, etc.). Also, the Trabsporter settings page (menu) shows no capability or category to add "EQ" or anything like it. It has many categories, but not EQ or Inguz or even plug-in. I've reloaded and rebooted a few times. Additonally, and not surprisingly, the actual Transporter screen, via remote, shows no EQ or Inguz or plug-in setting under "Settings", just the normal volume, screensaver, etc. So far, that's as far as I've got. Any help is appreciated. I have a highly modded Modwright Transporter so any sound degradation in EQ bypass mode will be cause for an uninstall, but willing to test and understand the tradeoffs for adding tone controls to bright and poorly recorded ripped cd's, especially from the convenience of my listening chair. -- ted_b ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ted_b's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3289 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26005 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
