No gaps in the music usually indicates a problem somewhere between
server and  player.

You indicate that CPU is 50% - if you have a dual core processor then
this could mean one core is 100% loaded which could result in the
symptoms.

Another possibility is your wireless is overloaded with two wireless
hops.  Can you run a network test (from SB3 Extras menu is easiest) and
make sure you can get at least 1500kbps sustained for 5 minutes at 100%.
This is approx. min speed required for Flac.

To change from using transcoding from Flac to MP3 (assuming you have
lame installed) - go into Settings/Advanced/Filetypes and disable the
RTSP->FLAC and RTSP->WAV settings. The MP3 settings should be the only
one enabled. Click Apply.  Now try playing a stream - MP3 has smaller
CPU load and also lower bandwidth needs than Flac.
