Some time ago I suggested in this forum that the SB should have a way to either password protect access to the remote settings menu or have a way to set the remote to "Guest" mode. Under "Guest" the user would not be able to make setting changes or modify "existing" playlist or favorites. I still think that the folks at SD should consider adding something similar. I have a nephew that's always playing pranks on me. He used to get a hold of my SB3 remote, change settings and start library scans. Now, before he arrives, I go to the settings of the SB3 Player and hide the settings menu.
