Actually that sounds like a malformed server communication or client decoding. Can you do me a favor, I will need a log file of the communication iPeng has with the server:
1. Find your server.log. You get the path from your SC's WebUI (Settings-Advanced->Logging). On my Mac it's /Users/MYUSERNAME/Library/Logs/SqueezeCenter/server.log, but that's 10.5.5. Note: you need to find the log in the finder, the link in the webUI doesn't do it. 2. shut down your server 3. delete server.log 4. start the server and wait until the "Web Access" button becomes enabled 5. Go back to Settings->Advanced->Logging and set "(network.jsonrpc) - JSON-RPC API Logging" to "Debug" and press "Apply" at the bottom of the page. 6. start iPeng and wait until it crashes (you can go straight to albums to provoke it) 7. send me the server.log that you have now. 8. Set "(network.jsonrpc) - JSON-RPC API Logging" back to "Error" and press "Apply" (or you get really big log files).
