At the moment, I have manually configured WOSB to fire a couple of minutes
before my morning alarm clock time, to ensure SC is awake.

I was thinking that this may not be necessary now, because I can configure a
Boom player to fire an alarm at the same time, which will send a WOL packet, so
I don't need any Wake Up software running on the PC box itself.

However, I use SvrPowerControl at the moment just to be able to send the server
into suspend mode, so setting it up to also wake before the next alarm (so it
works with any player) sounds ideal.

One recent issue I had with suspending the server is the rather annoying recent
change to the SB3 player firmware that displays the lost connection to server
message in bright text. I wish I could stop that - it lights the whole bedroom
up. I wouldn't mind if it obeyed the brightness setting (I have the bedroom
player brightness set to minimum in all modes), or if it didn't display for so
long.

So, one workaround would be to switch to SN before shutdown, and configure SN
to have a low brightness (or no brightness).
