Actually, patches aren't recommended at the moment. I'm currently rewriting OtherPlayers in order to implement the previously discussed changes and have made a lot of changes to the way the ui works under the bonnet. The controller code may also change significantly, so it would probably be a waste of time for anyone to write code against the released version. I will take look at adding volume control as part of this work, so watch this space.
