bpa, I installed the new version of softsqueeze you sent. Installation went smoothly. It doesn't seem to fix the problem, although it may act a little different. I see softsqueeze go through connecting and then buffering. It seems to think it's playing but no sound comes out and the mplayer and flac tasks are not running on the server so I know wma transcoding is not occuring. Music libraries still seem to play fine as well as mp3 radio stations. wma radio streams still seems to be a problem.
I did verify that it was the updated softsqueeze running. Version is CVS_BUILD I'm surprised logitech isn't interested in keeping Softsqueeze up to date. It's such a great marketing tool for their squeezeboxes. It's the reason I came to own squeezeboxes in the first place.
