OK now I'm embarrassed Finding this thread, I now realize that there is a downlaod to use Ipeng on your PC and not just an app to use the Itouch as the remote for, in my case, a Squeezebox duet with an additional reciver
I'm not sure I will do this, (probably because I don'tunderstand the advantages and I never use Squeezecenter when sitting in front of the PC - I basically want to have my MP-3's on my basement PC available to both my home theaters on upper floors), as the I-touch app worked immediately upon downloading it at the appstore. If you could point me to a page that would show what I-peng on the PC would add, I'd appreciate that but I have two questions in any case 1) Is it possible to play my MP-3's on the Touch using the headphone jack? When I open the app I have the same three options as on my SBC, (Bedroom, Living Room,and Controller), I had assumed that I should select Controller, but that doesn't seem to work. When I tried that this evening I found that even though I was accessing the song on the I-touch, it was playing on the SBC through it's small speaker 2) I understand an update for the app is imminent - is this fore the I-touch and if so,how do I get the update once it comes out?
