I have tried the different alsa stream names getting the same type of message: ALSA lib pcm.c:2202:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM <alsa_stream> arecord: main:590: audio open error: No such file or folder
running arecord in a terminal window seems to work, it reads a continous stream of data. Will try wavin:hw(1,0) when I get home tonight.
