No, I'm using plain old XP Pro on one machine and Windows Home Server on the other. They produce the same results.
I'm wondering if it's significant that the Technisat DVB-S card only appears as a network adapter in Device Manager, and not under Sound, video and game controllers. That said, it works perfectly Ok with other DVB applications.
