Ok. The left most screen has a number of horizontal panels. At the top is a panel for each of my players and at the bottom 'music sources' (SN and 'imac lan'). Touching one of the players makes the control panel at the very bottom of the screen control that player. I really don't like this screen - i have 4 players so need to scroll up/down to see them all. The screen doesn't seem to scroll very well and trying to scroll regularly changes the volume, selects another player or tries to switch to SN. On each of the player panels there is power, volume, connect to SN, play and a wavy line. I think the wavy line is the 'sync' icon but touching it seems to give very unpredicatble results - touching any player seems to select the bottom control and highlights it briefly. Touching the wavy line highlights the player controls in white and keeps the highlighted. Sometimes i can get the wavy line to have a cross through it but can't work out how. Sometimes the player panel shrinks slightly and has a black patch to the right side. I think this panel needs work. I think the top panels should ONLY be used to show status and allow you to select that player - the bottom of the screen should let you change player settings for the player selected. The top panels are too small and it's too easy to change something by accident.
