Hey *thanks for all your patience here; I now have a working system.* Firstly running SU and then the commands apparently isn't the same as running SUDO in front of all the commands - my bad - its been 20 years since I programmed UNIX (as it was called back then).
So I now have an up to date CPAN library, YAML and FormatText installation. I also have Michael's files loaded under /Users/andy/Library/Application Support/Squeezebox/Plugins/MHCPAN. And of course, I'm a registered Apple developer. Woohoo. Pass the T-shirt But I'd like to repeat something from my previous post that I don't think people here should loose sight of > I know you guys are working hard at delivering a kick ass system, but > you might want to re-think your pre-requisites list - asking the average > home user to register as an Apple developer and play with the Terminal > is not a road to true success. Many thanks for the help Andy -- mozzer503 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mozzer503's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20682 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55267 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
