Thank you for your kind words Sunnysekot. Your amp sounds very strange! Some ir protocols do indeed specify that a commend needs to be sent a certain number of times before it is recognised, but RC5 isn't one of them. Even stranger is that it's a Philips amp and Philips invented RC5 so if anything was going to follow the spec I would expect it to be their own kit.
The '+' uses the protocol's actual repeat timing (113 ms for RC5) and is what I would expect people to use when only sending one command. Without the '+' the command is sent every 200ms (an arbitrary number used to space out sequential codes and long enough to ensure they don't overlap). What model is your amp? If there's a LIRC file for it I may be able to decipher it and tell you what codes to use for on/off. -- indifference_engine ------------------------------------------------------------------------ indifference_engine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20698 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66795 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
