I had this running with 7.3.3 on WHS as well. The firewall would block access to network share unless smb was allowedthrough which more thasn likely is default, Agree it shouldn't make a difference but just to rule it out I thought to suggest it.
I don't know if you've tried this through your other endeavours but I did at one point in my setup suspect an issue with the musicip dbase and so renamed the file and created a new one through a fule rescan, then a rescan on SB.
