I don't have a hardware player, I am testing this before I shell out the money for one; although I am already at the stage that it works well enough for me to go ahead and get one, being able to stream BBC is important for the decision. I am testing the stream with vlc player on windows over the wireless network, and I have also tested Amarok (xine) and vlc on the linux box, pointing at localhost. They all work fine, i.e. stream the http:ip.ad.dre.ss:9000/stream.mp3. bpa Wrote: > > What type of player do you have ? > Have you enabled "Bit rate Limiting" for this player ? > No hardware player, but I did try to enable bit rate limiting in the settings -> Advanced -> Network -> Maximum WMA Stream Bitrate page to 64kbs as per another thread, if that's the same thing? It had no effect. bpa Wrote: > > In WebUI Settings/Advanced/Filetypes what are values for the settings > for Windows Media -> Flac and Windows Media "native" ? > They are: Windows Media -> Flac = "mplayer.sh/flac" Windows Media = "native" WMAlossless and WMApro are also "native" Thanks for thinking about it, Cheers Jim -- squeezyjim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ squeezyjim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34525 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71855 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
