Yes, I thought about that a lot. However, it's _really_ hard to do. The main reason iPeng "gathers information" is because it updates it's state from the server. However, there is no real difference between that and what it does during normal operation so there is no trigger to say "hey, it's done", there are permanent updates coming in. I think the issue will go away for most of the time anyway with iOS4.2 when iPeng will just be suspended and the come back in the same place where you left it.
