Thanks bpa, you're right I tend to use posts as a log. It helps me keep track of what I'm doing and, I hope, keeps you and anyone else watching this thread up to speed on what's going on. I still haven't got any logging going on when I run vlc from the plugin. I am attaching my amended custom convert file. Does it look right?
