While I've got a number of Controllers and I've got a hwbeta Touch, my normal day to day operating setup is a transporter controlled by my iPod Touch. So I'm in the same boat as you: I've seen the undesirable behavior...but not so consistently that I can really document the steps to reproduce it. Sometimes it 'heals' itself...only to return at a later time.
