No. Actually I just removed an (accidental) limiter due to popular demand. There is the setting you mentioned in the server for that and if you set it to a reasonable value it should just work fine.
What confuses me is that the whole MENU got missing. I mean: the menu should be created independent of how the content is actually being loaded.
