Two issues to be covered:
1. I still need a good logic about how volume control using the hard
keys is supposed to work with/without iPEng's playback. Did get
complaints about the current behavior (no use of keys) but no
suggestions about how it's right (reminder: there is one limitation:
the volume of the iThingy ALWAYS changes).
2. Needs testing for iOS5 compatibility. All things I have found are
fixed so far but I need a round of beta testing, there are quite a
number of API changes in iOS5. And no, testing the current release
under iOS5 doesn't help, that works except for Twitter but linking
against iOS5 is a different story.

It's not a question of slowdown only, it's a question of excessive
caching.

But you may be right, i might rethink that strategy.

Yes. Well, the server will cache it as well, but iPeng also doesn't use
these tiny stamps the other Apps use and the images iPeng caches are
about 4 times the size (on disc) of the ones the server pre-generates.

Well, it's always been kind of an issue for compilations.
