I would hope for the later, the rule breaking.  The whole purpose would
be to take iTunes out of the picture.  It's such a piece of crap.

I've moved to Android.  Squeezecommander has the download feature in it
already.  So I can survive.

A new LMS player app for iDevices would be cool, completely
disconnected from iTunes.  Direct download from LMS, delete locally
from the device when you need more space.  Queuing, scrobbling and all
that good stuff.  People would buy it.  I would just for my iPad, and
know 5 other guys that would as well.

But somehow I think the above app would somehow break Apples "rules" as
well.
