Good idea but I don't get it to work.
I specified the server and player and then hit sync button, the app
says "Synching..." and then disappears but the Squeezebox Touch doesn't
get any new playlist.
Is the app supposed to disappear when I hit sync button or does this
indicate that it crashes ?
Some kind of error message if it doesn't manage to sync properly feels
like a good idea.
Is there any way to troubleshoot it ?
I'm using LMS 7.7.1 and iOS 5.0.1 on an iPhone4.
Not sure how useful it would be, but a really cool demonstration
feature would be if it used the GPS and started to play when I got
close to home.
I also agree with mherger, it should as a minimum maintain a list of
configured Squeezeboxes and automatically detect and select them when
they are within reach, auto detection would be better but if I just
didn't have to manually switch IP address it would be a big
improvement. Still, I can imagine that it might not be too many users
who are running multiple Squeezeboxes, so maybe there are more
important features.
