The big buffer is enabled by default and can cause trouble with some streaming services and synchronization, that's what the option is for. But it does help for Spotify for me, although it doesn't really address the root cause, the root cause is that Triode's Spotify plugin is slow to send transcoded data on some servers and iPeng doesn't expect this. We have a fix but need to get it through App Store approval.
Maybe I wasn't clear about where it is, the option is only available in iPeng 1.5 (or iPeng for iPad 1.3), here, you have too options to get to it: 1. press the blue ">" on the right hand side of the player in the MultiPlayer screen: [image: http://penguinlovesmusic.de/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/AirPlayRow.png] Then select "Bitrate Limiting".
