Funnily enough, I have no problems with MusicIP Mixer and the Logitech
MusicIP plugin working with non-ASCII filenames at all. They will
happily chug along including even files with japanese symbols in a mix.
The problem for me is only with DynamicMix and Sugarcube plugins, which
will take non-ASCII files for a seed (I believe), but are not able to
queue them - see my other post for details here:

As a retribution, the setting to "preserve file modification time when
updating tags" in MusicIP Mixer GUI does not work for me at all - each
file it touches ends up with a current timestamp, and with file
permissions reset to read/write for owner only, no read access for
group and others... quite annoying. This is with MusicIP 1.8.0 on Linux
with music library mounted via NFS.
