Funnily enough, I have no problems with MusicIP Mixer and the Logitech MusicIP plugin working with non-ASCII filenames at all. They will happily chug along including even files with japanese symbols in a mix. The problem for me is only with DynamicMix and Sugarcube plugins, which will take non-ASCII files for a seed (I believe), but are not able to queue them - see my other post for details here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=698988&postcount=32 As a retribution, the setting to "preserve file modification time when updating tags" in MusicIP Mixer GUI does not work for me at all - each file it touches ends up with a current timestamp, and with file permissions reset to read/write for owner only, no read access for group and others... quite annoying. This is with MusicIP 1.8.0 on Linux with music library mounted via NFS. -- haschmich ------------------------------------------------------------------------ haschmich's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41882 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92930
