Hm, interesting problem, this is on a recent (4G) iPod touch? With iOS 4 or 5?
The "blank CD" icon is sent by the server so either the server can't generate the cover art for some reason or iPeng asks for something the server doesn't understand. Do I understand correctly that you are only having the problem when playing with iPeng's playback, or also when you are playing on the SB? Is this radio or music from your local library and what's the server running on? Windows, I suppose? There has been one issue related to iTunes integration, I'm not sure it's still around... iTunes only adds artwork to one file for any album. The server then choses this artwork for the whole album but when iTunes integration was on I did have issues in the past where on the NowPlaying screen only the one track in the album that actually had artwork added by iTunes also showed it. I stopped using iTunes integration because it caused too much trouble so I don't know whether it's still around but could you maybe check whether the problem exists for all tracks in an album?
